Akili Sono

Our mission is to fully automate the currently manual processes involved in conducting and finalising ultrasound scans by first focusing on improving reporting workflows and then focusing on optimising image standardisation, quality control and diagnostic outcomes.

We will reimage medical imaging by building the world’s most comprehensive artificial intelligence co-pilot for diagnostic ultrasound; improving the quality, accuracy and accessibility of all procedures in all specialties of traditional and point of care ultrasound.

The idea for Akili Sono was born in mid 2024 out of Eraga and Dr Robert Magotti’s shared vision to accelerate the clinical workflow of diagnostic US, enhance the quality of care provided to patients and to reduce the burden to the healthcare system by improving interoperability, facilitating early disease detection and democratising access to healthcare among rural, remote and disadvantaged populations.
