We have multiple, fully-funded PhD scholarship opportunities, at the Macquarie University Cyber Security Hub, for domestic (AU citizen and Permanent Resident) and international candidates interested in cybersecurity, data privacy and artificial intelligence. The potential research topics include: Real-time cyber threat prevention mechanisms, Personal information leakage in natural language processing models, Classification of cyberthreats robust against obfuscation, Security, privacy and fairness in machine learning, and Secure and private multiparty data analysis.
Backgrounds in Computer Science and related fields with relevant research experience.
Scholarship components:
The scholarship consists of a Tuition Fee Offset and a Living Allowance Stipend. The value and tenure of the scholarship is a “MQRES” full-time stipend rate of $28,854 per annum (in 2022 tax exempt for up to 3 years - indexed annually).
