Visiting the campus
The media relations team welcomes the media to Macquarie University’s campus at North Ryde, but appreciates the courtesy of being advised beforehand, particularly if filming or interviewing is likely to impact upon the University’s core business of teaching and research. Media should not enter lecture theatres, offices or research labs or other private buildings without first obtaining permission. Consistent with the media code of ethics, they should identify themselves as media before seeking to interview, and they should park in designated car parking spaces.
Maps of the campus are available showing parking areas and building numbers.
Requests to film on campus for television news should be directed to the Media Manager. Filming or photography requests for other commercial purposes, such as feature films, dramas or advertisements should be directed to the Office of Facilities Management – please use this Request Form.
