HRH The Duke of York, KG to visit NSW for Pitch@Palace On Tour Sydney

Sydney will welcome The Duke of York to New South Wales later this year as part of the Pitch@Palace Australia 2.0 programme.

Pitch@Palace was founded by HRH in 2014 as a platform to amplify and accelerate the work of Entrepreneurs. The programme guides, helps and connects Entrepreneurs and early-stage businesses with a global network of potential supporters including CEOs, Influencers, Angels, Investors, Mentors and Business Partners.

Pitch@Palace On Tour Sydney will take place on Monday 19 November 2018. Pitch@Palace Australia On Tour events will provide entrepreneurs from across the country with the opportunity to learn about the programme, connect to local stakeholders and receive mentoring to develop their business.

Pitch@Palace Australia 2.0 will take place in Brisbane on 30 November 2018. Applications are now open to Entrepreneurs who have identified opportunities across a broad range of technologies, from Biotech and Cyber Security to Robotics and Smart Cities.

Pitch@Palace Australia On Tour Sydney will be hosted by University of Wollongong and Macquarie University.

“Pitch@Palace is a very effective way to give Australian innovators the opportunity to get on the global stage. We have seen huge demand for our programs since The Duke of York officially opened the Macquarie University Incubator a year ago so it is absolutely a pleasure to be partnering with Pitch@Palace again. We encourage anyone who has a business to apply and see where this journey takes you,“ said Professor David Wilkinson, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Corporate Engagement and Advancement at Macquarie University.

Entrepreneurs can apply online to take part in one of five Pitch@Palace Australia On Tour events taking place in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide and Gold Coast. Eight Entrepreneurs from each event will be selected to take part in Pitch@Palace Australia 2.0 Boot Camp in Brisbane on 28 November 2018 and Pitch@Palace Australia 2.0 on 30 November 2018.

The winners of Pitch@Palace Australia 2.0 will be invited to Pitch@Palace Global 3.0 at St James’s Palace in London in December, and will have the opportunity to network with potential investors and influential members of the international business community.

Pitch@Palace Global took place in December 2017, where Pitch@Palace Australia 1.0 winner, NevHouse, was named Pitch@Palace Global Entrepreneur of the Year.

Applications can be submitted online at pitchatpalaceaustralia.com.
