Nearly 3200 graduates will receive their degrees, diplomas and certificates in Macquarie University’s September 2015 graduation series, commencing on Tuesday 15 September. Of the degrees conferred, 167 will go to Doctoral candidates and 46 will go to the first Doctor of Physiotherapy graduates at Macquarie University.
A further 41 exceptional students will receive a Vice-Chancellor’s Commendation for meritorious work. To achieve this award, students must have maintained a Distinction or High Distinction result for each and every unit of study undertaken in their degree program, or in the case of research students, have submitted theses for examination of an exceptionally high standard.
Ceremonies will be attended by nearly 7000 guests of students and will also be live streamed via YouTube. This season will mark the first time ceremonies will be live streamed to mainland China as well.
