“Macquarie alumna’s book made into TV serIn a tranquil seaside town, nothing is quite as it seems.” – this is the first sentence in the synopsis that does not make sense.

Does it mean to say something like: “Macquarie alumna’s book made into TV serIes, is set in a tranquil seaside town, where nothing is quite as it seems.”

Thank you for forwarding the Macquarie Matters document to me.

As I was reading the synopsis on the article about the Macquarie alumna Liane Moriarty, and found words were missing in the first sentence which made it not making sense.

Someone needs to slow down and carefully edit the articles they are presenting, or the supervisor needs to check the work of the person doing the editing.
