Your emails are always fascinating and I appreciate them immensely. Very interested to read of Wendy Harmer's doctorate. She truly deserved it. My own case is not altogether indifferent, in an entirely different way. I graduated at the first graduation ceremony held in Macquarie's history, in March, 1970 with a 'mediocre' B.A. My career was not anything to 'write home' about. However, I am the world's longest survivor of mesothelioma, I have had published eighteen books (published in the U.K. the U.S.A and Australia) - some strong sellers. Above all, I have greatly helped countless people suffering terminal illness. Indeed, I would, if the opportunity presented itself, send you dozens of testimonials from patients in the United States, recently sent to me. I was the 'indifferent' student who somehow created much help during my life. I am seventy-four years of age and now live in Brisbane. My website is www.paulkraus.com Apologies for this diatribe.
