It would be really good if the clinic gives alumni a discount. The price has soared to an unbearable level since last year, so I don’t think it can be counted as one benefit for alumni even though I live nearby.

Thanks for your post.

As alumni you have special access to several online databases through the Library as part of our extensive Alumni Benefits program.

Since 2015, we expanded the range of library benefits including access to over 39 online databases across 18 platforms, which provide over 14,000 journals, 5,000 ebooks and 7,000 video, journals at the end of 2015.

To gain access to this free service, you will need to sign up on our Alumni Benefits webpage. Click library access and it will take you to the registration form to give you both borrowing privileges and database access. You will receive an automatic email with further instruction to create your login.

Once you have created your OneID login (starting with MQG) and password, you can find all the database available under ‘Alumni databases A-Z’. By clicking on any database, it will ask you to login.

Note: If you able to come into the Library, you have full access to all the databases students can access using the Library computers.

Thanks very much for this information. I was not aware but am really thrilled to learn that as a Macquarie alumnus I will retain library privileges over my lifetime. Is it necessary to register with the library to maintain borrower status? Or do I just retain my7 Macquarie student card.
