Biography

Stephanie Huang is Associate Professor in Marketing and Associate Dean (Curriculum and Learning, Undergraduate) at Macquarie Business School.

Being an award-winning teacher, Huang’s dedicated to inspiring and empowering her students, to support and encourage them to be passionate, brave and independent learners. She is the recipient of the Dean’s Excellence Award for Student Experiences and the MQBS Student-Nominated Teaching Award.

Huang is a cross-disciplinary researcher. She has taken leadership roles in interdisciplinary research network/center, and led multiple funded interdisciplinary research projects. Her main research interests are investigating dynamics and evolution of trust, consumer vulnerability and wellbeing, and cross-cultural marketing phenomena. Her work has been published in leading marketing journals and presented in international conferences.

Before joining Macquarie University, Huang has worked in the School of Marketing at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and Fudan University. She has taken senior managerial roles in higher education sectors and worked for consulting, media and market research firms.
