ABBOTT, Edward (1766-1832) - Captain
Military officer (NSW Corps), in Sydney but took no active part in the overthrow of Governor Bligh.
Returned to Britain in 1810 with the regiment, sold his commission and returned to VDL in 1815 where he took up his appointment as the first and only Deputy Judge Advocate in VDL. Large landholder.
