Sydney Gazette: 22 February 1822

The Surry cleared the Heads of Port Jackson about eight o'clock in the morning of this day week, having a fine westerly breeze to carry her "FAR AWAY!" By the last accounts received from on board, we are happy to inform the Public, that His Excellency the MAJOR GENERAL, Mrs. MACQUARIE, and FAMILY, were in the enjoyment of perfect health; and appeared as anxious to view their native land, as they regretted the final separation from their grateful Friends — the AUSTRALIAN PUBLIC !
