Tuesday 6th. July ! —
The Ship Minstrel Capt. Reed sailed this day for England, having Major Maclaine & Lt. Leyne of 73d. Regt. on board as Passengers. —

I sent my Dispatches for England Pr. Major Maclaine – as per Receipt of do. —

Wedy. 7. July! —
I set out this day on an Excursion to Parramatta & Windsor, accompanied by Mrs. M. & Family; and also by Mr. & Mrs. Allan. —

Tuesday 13. July! —
We returned to Sydney at 1. P.M. this day after a pleasant Excursion!

Sunday 25 July !!! —
From present appearances, and from her being quite well and free from her usual monthly Complaint since the 25th. of last month, now 30 Days, there is some reason to hope that my dearest Elizabeth is pregnant, and that she has now been so for three weeks past! — She is at present in very good health – and may the Almighty Ruler of all events grant that our mutual fervent prayers and most earnest wishes to have offspring may at length be realized – and thereby complete our Earthly happiness! —
