Lachlan Macquarie:

Journal to and from Van Diemen's
Land to Sydney in N.S. Wales.
4 November 1811 - 6 January 1812

Records the account of a voyage by Lachlan and Elizabeth Macquarie to Hobart on board the Lady Nelson; an overland journey to Port Dalrymple; voyage to Port Stephens and Newcastle; and return to Sydney.

Also travelling on the Lady Nelson with the Macquaries were Captain Henry Antill, Lieut. John Maclaine (Macquarie's cousin/nephew), and Acting Surveyor-General James Meehan.
