Stroganov Palace
Baroque facade of the Stroganov Palace on Nevsky Prospekt.
Designed by the Italian architect, and Russian Court favourite, Bartolomeo Rastrelli in 1753 for one of the city's leading aristocratic families. The building is now owned by the Russian Museum, which already has temporary exhibitions on display, and it is in the process of refurbishing the interior.
