Teaching in iLearn for Tutors



This session is designed for Tutors or Teaching Assistants who will be teaching with iLearn. It will provide participants with an overview of iLearn, how to access student work online, moderate forums and make announcements. It would be particularly useful for casual academic tutors or teaching assistants who are not responsible for building or editing content but need to access student work in iLearn such as online assignments, quizzes and forums. The Convenor role in iLearn is responsible for building and editing an online unit, which will not be covered in this session.   • Access student content
  • Identify the different roles in iLearn
  • Manage forums
  • Manage profile settings
  • Make an announcement
  • Direct students to Help
Who should attend: All teaching staff, particularly tutors and sessional staff participating in TIP
