Explore elements in a way you've never seen before

This display showcases the periodic table, displaying the elements in individual acrylic cubes.

Each cube contains a sample of a pure element (where safe and possible), allowing viewers to appreciate the diversity of physical properties across the table—from lustrous transition metals to reactive alkali elements. It’s a celebration of atomic structure, periodic trends, and the elegance of chemical organisation.

What is the Periodic Table?

The periodic table is a chart that organizes all known chemical elements by their properties. Each element is a unique type of atom, and together they make up everything in the universe - from water and air to metals and living things. The table helps scientists understand how elements behave and interact with each other.

About the display:

This Luciteria periodic table features individual acrylic cubes, each housing a real sample of an element. The cubes are arranged in a custom acrylic frame that mirrors the layout of the periodic table.
