Annual Meeting of the Ecological Society of Australia (ESA), Melbourne.

This workshop explored how ecosystems may change by 2100 under major global change drivers including:

  • climate warming
  • altered fire regimes
  • changing land use
  • emerging gene technologies.

Using state-and-transition scenario approaches across several Australian ecosystems, the discussions focused on future ecosystem trajectories and implications for biodiversity management and nature-positivity assessments.
