The Macquarie University Cyber Security Hub hosted the Unspoken Truths about Women in Cyber event on 27 October in a joint initiative with Cisco, providing a platform to delve into the untapped potential of women in cybersecurity, underscoring the significance of psychological safety in the workplace, and exploring the cybersecurity agendas of government and industry.
In an era where the cybersecurity sector continues to experience significant growth, the stark underrepresentation of women in this critical industry is pressing issue, and with the demand for cyber expertise on the rise, addressing this challenge has become more vital than ever.
