Applied BioSciences is seeking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic Research Fellow to join a team working on Hort Innovation project FF17001 "Post-production pilot of Queensland fruit fly sterile insect technique".
In this role, you will conduct research that aims to increase the cost-effectiveness of sterile insect technique by refining and developing economical alternatives to current standard operational practises. The overarching goal of this work is to increase the suitability of sterile insect technique as a regional and local pest suppression tool, including under management of local industries and communities. You will work closely with regional industry and community stakeholders.
