A day in the life of a MUSEC student
Each day at MUSEC School is full of a variety of activities for our students to enjoy. As well as lessons dedicated to literacy and numeracy, our school week also features songs, dance, art, sport and play.
School schedule

| 8.50am | All students should be at school by 8.50am; unless leave has been arranged or your child is sick |
| 8.55am | Classes commence and absences are recorded |
| 9am – 11am | Session 1 |
| 11am – 11.30am | Morning tea |
| 11.30am – 1.30pm | Session 2 |
| 1.30pm – 2pm | Lunch |
| 1.30pm – 2.45pm | Session three |
| 2.45pm | End of day pack-up |
| 2.55pm | MUSEC School doors open and students are ready to go home |
Please note:
- We do not have a school canteen. Your child will need to bring food and drink for morning tea and lunch.
- We do not operate before or after school care.

School Development Days (pupil free days):
- Term 1: Thursday 2 April
- Term 2: Monday 20 April and Tuesday 21 April
- Term 3: Monday 20 July
- Term 4: Monday 12 October; Monday 14 December and Tuesday 15 December
The MUSEC School uniform comprises of:
- aqua blue school shirts (available for sale at the school)
- navy-blue shorts, pants or skirt that your child is comfortable to wear.
All students must:
- have a hat (preferably navy blue)
- wear closed in shoes with socks (no sandals, ‘crocs’ or thongs).
If transportation is an issue, your child may be eligible for the Assisted School Travel Program (ASTP) provided by the NSW Department of Education. ASTP provides individualised transport to and from school.
