Fire fighters climb for motor neurone disease

MND is a fatal neurological disease which typically strikes young, fit, healthy people seemingly at random.

Not willing to sit by and not take action, Matt approached Macquarie University with an idea to raise $50,000 to support the MND Research Centre at Macquarie University. His idea – to invite firefighters to climb the Sydney Tower Eye in full 20kg firefighting uniform.

Over the past three years, $1.3 million has been raised by firies enabling the MND Research Centre to progress its research by leaps and bounds.

MND is a brutal disease for which there is no treatment or cure……..yet. Research is the only tool there is to understand and overcome MND. Find out more about the Fire fighters climb for MND.
