2018 Backpack to Briefcase: North Ryde - The Challenge

30 July 2018

The Challenge: Workplace of the Future

What does our workplace of the future look like? Is it heavily focused on workplace culture, big data or technology? Or is it work flexibility or even the physical environment?

Join us for a new segment within the Backpack to Briefcase SeriesThe Challenge where you can workshop your ideas with fellow alumni.

The Challenge? Work together in a group to identify a problem, come up with a solution and implementation plan, and provide a short 3-minute pitch in front of a panel of accomplished (but friendly) experts.

Winning the challenge is the reason you should participate, but it’s so much more. The Challenge is about getting out of your comfort zone, bouncing ideas off people you’ve never met, hearing fresh perspectives by thinking outside the box and practicing your problem solving and communication skills.

It’s about collaboration, communication, innovation and teamwork - skills you need in your personal and professional lives.

The Bosses:

  • Damian Madden BMedia(Hons) (2004) - Global Digital Manager, The Woolmark Company
  • Laurien Hush BComm(Mktg) (2012), MBA (2016) - Marketing and Campaigns Manager, Allens
  • Matt Scott BBussAdmin (2003) - former HR Director, Amex
