Description	As a valued member of our alumni community, we warmly invite you to our second annual Alumni Reunion Day on Saturday 16 August for a celebration of connection, growth, and shared journeys. Alumni Reunion Day presents a unique opportunity to reunite with fellow alumni, gain insights into critical industry trends and transformations, tour the campus, and admire a range of recent advancements that showcase the University’s ongoing growth and innovation. This year’s event, themed ‘AI and the Human Element’, will feature an impressive panel of alumni speakers and Macquarie staff, including: Dr Cathy Foley AO PSM - former Chief Scientist of Australia Matt Barrie - Chief Executive, Freelancer Curt Shi - Investor and entrepreneur Phil Laufenberg - Head of AI, Macquarie University Professor Niloufer Selvadurai - Macquarie Law School The discussion will be moderated by Jonathan Covell, Chief Information and Digital Officer, Macquarie University. The panel discussion will be followed by an opportunity to engage with an activation area of Macquarie University programs and faculty, a complimentary lunch, campus tour and an opportunity to mark the occasion with our photobooth. Our Alumni Reunion Day coincides with Macquarie’s broader Open Day festivities, which sees our stunning Wallumattagal Campus come alive with prospective students; as well as a wealth of activities, stalls and community activations all visitors can enjoy.
