Key Research Areas

Social justice, understood in the most expansive sense so that it includes the more-than-human world, is the superordinate term that encompasses the entirety of my research. Under this meta-rubric, my key fields of research are: law, culture and the humanities; colonialism and decoloniality; state violence, war and carcerality; race, whiteness and ethnicity; refugees and asylum seekers; bodies, science and technologies; visual culture; environmental humanities; and migration and diaspora.
