Still looking for an expert, or didn't find what you were looking for? The Communications team at Macquarie maintain a database of contacts from communications teams across Australia's universities.
To submit an expert request to Xpertnet, email email@example.com with the following details: a description of the kind of expert or commentary that you are looking for, your deadline, and your contact details. Note Xpertnet is only available within working hours.
Filming and photography on campus
For news media and related filming, please email the Communications team: firstname.lastname@example.org. Include in your initial request the purpose for filming and when you would like to do so, the location/s and talent/s you would like to film, and when and where the footage is likely to be used.
Please contact the Communications team with advance notice in order to allow time for your request to be assessed and for other relevant parties within the University to be notified as necessary. All filming requests most be accompanied by insurance liability assurance. Members of the media should not enter lecture theatres, offices, research labs or other private buildings without first obtaining permission.
