Visit us

The Art Gallery is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 5pm. Find out how you can get to the Art Gallery, and what else you can do while on campus.

All visitors entering the University Art Gallery must scan in using the QR code that is displayed at the entrance. Any guests who refuse to scan in will be denied entry.

While visiting we ask that you adhere to the following physical distancing and hand hygiene practices:

  • Wear a mask while in the Gallery
  • Maintain at least 1.5 metres distance from others at all times
  • Note the capacity limit in the gallery, and move elsewhere if the capacity is full.

Please do not visit if you are feeling unwell.

Train

The nearest train station is Macquarie University, which is about one kilometre away, along University Avenue then Eastern Road.

Bus

The nearest bus stop is Macquarie Centre, which services bus routes from across the city. Macquarie Centre is on Herring Road, North Ryde, and is about one kilometre away, along University Avenue then Eastern Road.

Bike

There is a bicycle rack just opposite the Chancellery Building, in the Macquarie Graduate School of Management car park.

The nearby Central Courtyard and the Macquarie Graduate School of Management have fantastic eateries, serving a diverse range of food. Macquarie Centre is also within walking distance and has numerous eateries and cafés.

The MQ Art Collection is displayed across the campus in public buildings including the Library. You can also explore the Macquarie History Museum.
