Print, scan and copy

The multifunction stations (Print, scan and copy) are available on all levels of the Library.

Login to iPrint.mq.edu.au with your OneID and add money using PayPal or add money to your Campus Card at a payment machine on levels 1,2 & 3 of the Library or at Lab 218, 17 Wally's Walk. Payment machines do not give change and change is not available in the Library.

If you are not a student or staff member you can email the documents you wish to print to iprint@mq.edu.au. You will receive an email confirmation with instructions on how to set up an account and add money. You can then collect your print jobs from the multifunction stations.

Scan for free to your email or USB from any station. Only Fat 32 formatted, 4GB type USBs are supported

Computers and Laptops

Library Computers

Use the computers on level 2 by logging in with your OneID. Individual sessions are for a maximum of 2 hours, multiple sessions allowed per person, per day. Computers automatically log off after 15 minutes if left unattended and files need to be saved to the cloud or USB

Laptop loans

Borrow laptops from the self-service kiosks on level 3 for up to 4 hours. Available for current Macquarie University students and staff

Laptop lockers

Store laptops in Individual laptop lockers, with chargers, on level 2 for up to 24-hours. Contact the collection desk for access.

Study Spaces

Presentation practice pods

Study in a Presentation Practice Pod on level 1. They are bookable for 2 hours for groups of up to 4 people.

Current Macquarie University and MUIC students can book for study only not for teaching, social activities or commercial purposes.

Quiet rooms

Study individually in Quiet Rooms Q1.01, Q1.02, Q1.03 and Q1.04 on level 1. These are individual rooms to be used by the person who books them. They are not for group study.

Quiet Rooms are available to book any time during Library Level 1 opening hours.  During exam periods these rooms may be unavailable as they are used for examinations.

Postgraduate study space

Students enrolled in approved Postgraduate courses will have their Campus Card automatically encoded for swipe access to this area on level 3. If you have issues accessing this space, please let us know.

Higher Degree Research study space

Students enrolled in approved HDR courses including MRES students, academic and professional staff are eligible to use this space on level 5 including the kitchen area.  If you are eligible your Campus Card will be automatically encoded for swipe access to this area.  If you have issues accessing this space, please let us know.
