Wet Weather Information and Current Field Status:

We care about the condition of our fields and want to ensure we're providing the best quality facilities for your event. Our staff work daily to maintain the quality of our sport fields to bring you the green fields you've come to know and love.

A key part of this maintenance is determining whether the fields are suitable to host an event when wet weather ensues.

Information about University Oval, the Northern Oval, Ross Gwilliam Oval and Campbell Field are updated daily so you're aware of their current status.

If you have a registered booking, the designated representative for your booking will be contacted by Macquarie University Sport Staff to notify them of the field status.

Field closure decisions are made 2:00pm each week day for the current day and 2:00pm on Fridays for the the Friday and weekend.

If earlier notification is required, please contact our Bookings Consultant on (02) 9850 9403.

Please note, that where a field has been categorized as open by Macquarie University Sport, it is still the responsibility of the field user to assess the playing surface for safety and use the fields at their own risk.
