New to Australia and unfamiliar with our beaches and waterways? The SwimSafe Warriors Program is for you!
Learn about Australian waterways and learn to swim in a fun, safe environment. Aimed at Macquarie University international students, the SwimSafe Warriors Program comprises of both theory and practical components. Participants will learn water safety as well as basic swimming skills.
This program will be split into two parts, a theory component and a practical component. The theory component will help you to identify risks, hazards and dangers in all aquatic environments. These sessions may include guest speakers from NSW Royal Life Saving Society, Surf Life Saving NSW and other aquatic services.
The SwimSafe Warrior Program is held at the Macquarie University Sport and Aquatic Centre and run by trained Swim School Staff. Here you will develop swimming skills, water safety knowledge and confidence in the water, just in time for summer!
