Macquarie Uni as part of a safer community

The R U OK? Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to encouraging all people to regularly and meaningfully ask 'are you ok?' to support those struggling with life.

You don't have to be an expert to support someone going through a tough time. You just need to be able to listen to their concerns without judgment and take the time to follow up with them.

The Ryde Council Crime Prevention Plan

NSW Facebook for International Students NSW Facebook for International Students

Welcome to our Facebook page, and welcome to NSW if you're new to this great state.

I'm Detective Superintendent Gavin Dengate, NSW Police Force's Corporate Spokesperson for International Students.

I'm also the Commander of Eastern Beaches LAC, home to UNSW and one of the largest student communities in NSW.

We understand it can be hard adjusting to a new country with a new culture and different laws.

If you're one of 200,000 international students in NSW, or even if you're just thinking of studying in NSW, we hope we can help you.

This Facebook page is intended as a forum for discussion on crime and policing related topics that affect international students in NSW.

Along with a team of dedicated Crime Prevention Officers, I personally monitor this page and will endeavour to respond to all questions.

If you do need to contact your local Police, please refer to the multi-lingual brochure "How to contact the Police"
