The AOE program is a collaboration between two fantastic campus collections for the purpose of engagement, giving these collections a new and meaningful purpose and making them accessible to new audiences.

We also collaborate and work with other community groups and research centers including
Tim England, Dementia Champion and community dementia care specialist. Tim has assisted in the development of training materials on the AOE Program's Liveable Communities Grant and also works with the local Rotary team to develop and grow the very successful D-Caf initiative.
The Centre for Applied History, Macquarie University. The Centre is both a research partner, exploring the value of public history and social history objects with this audience, and a general supporter of the program, assisting with program promotion and other advertising.
The Centre for Scaffolding the Aging Mind, Macquarie University is also a research partner for the program, exploring the use of objects and art and triggers for both memory and more general engagement with this audience.
