The Art & Object Engagement (AOE) Program

The AOE program is a collaboration between the Macquarie University Art Gallery and the Australian History Museum. The program has been offered to aged care facility groups with dementia for a number of years and has had a positive response from participants. After receiving NSW Government funding* in 2018, the AOE program was developed to include sessions for people living at home with dementia and their carers. This offering is still in the beginning stage and we look forward to continuing its development.
