NSW-India Cyber Security Exchange
In collaboration with the NSW Department of Industry, the Optus Macquarie Cyber Security Hub is launching the NSW-India Cyber Security exchange, taking ten cyber security start-ups from New South Wales to key destinations across India in September 2019.
About the program
The program is specially designed for start-ups to share ideas and promote collaboration across borders. Participants will gain valuable experience and immersion into the Indian innovation market, equipping founders with the knowledge and tools to launch their product in one of the world's most fertile economies.
Across its commercial hubs, India is home to a vibrant start-up community-the second largest in the world-and a widely entrepreneurial culture. India's flourishing start-up ecosystem is supported by a range of generous national and state sponsorship initiatives including Startup India; the government's flagship startup initiative. Technology startups comprise a large portion of the pool, with almost 5,000 registered in 2016. India is also home to a rapidly expanding consumer class, with an economy based on consumption and experiencing rapid and continued growth.
Join us on March 25th at Macquarie University Incubator, 8 Hadenfeld Ave from 1pm to hear from and support the shorlisted applicants pitching their idea to secure their place in the program. Register here.
