Natalie supports the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Chief Executive Officer of Macquarie University Hospital and Macquarie University Health Sciences Centre Board in the strategic management and integration of clinical services, teaching and research to underpin the growth and development of the academic health enterprise. Natalie is responsible for providing professional management and planning expertise and leadership to ensure that the enterprise’s strategic development, planning and business processes and outcomes are informed by robust evidence and aligned with the University’s overall strategic objectives.
Natalie’s career in healthcare has spanned the public, private and not-for-profit sectors in NSW beginning with a two year formal graduate health management internship program mentored by senior executives in a large area health service. She then pursued her passion for health services planning and strategy at St Vincent’s and Mater Health Sydney - an organisation of eminent public, private, aged care and medical research facilities, before joining the Secretary’s Office in the NSW Ministry of Health developing policy, managing projects and overseeing reporting against the NSW State Plan.
