Dr. Hunkook Jho (assistant professor at Dankook University, Korea) will be presenting a seminar on the contribution of big data in science education research studies using an example of bibliometric analysis. We highly recommend Dr. Jho’s seminar to graduate students and researchers with interest in big data analysis methods. Those who simply want to explore or become familiar with the topic are also welcome to join.
Description: This presentation aims to explore the contribution of big data in science education research studies using an example of bibliometric analysis. Dr. Jho introduces several implications on how researchers conduct literature reviews using scientometrics by introducing a number of data mining and visualization examples using R-Studio with the open repository (Cran-R).
Please register by Thursday, 17 January 2019 to attend this seminar. Also, please contact Dr Hye-Eun Chu directly if you have any questions regarding the seminar.
