LEAP Grant awarded for an academic mentoring program for undergraduate students from refugee backgrounds

Associate Professor Amanda Wise (Dept of Sociology), Cognitive Science's Associate Professor Anina Rich, and Ms Phillipa Bellmore (PhD candidate, Dept of Sociology), on behalf of the MQ node of the Academics for Refugees, have been awarded a LEAP Partnership Engagement Grant (Office of the DVC Academic & Registrar) to set up an academic mentoring program for undergraduate students from refugee backgrounds, in collaboration with the Widening Participation Unit and the Library.
