Document submission guidelines

You need to compile the following documents and information in preparation for your application:

  • Provide proof of residence (certified copy of visa, passport or birth certificate).
  • Obtain and provide certified copies of academic transcripts.
  • Provide up-to-date resume/CV
  • Write a statement of personal aims and achievements (more information on the application form).
  • Obtain two referee reports
  • Complete a recognition of prior learning form if applicable.

Other documents you may need to gather

If your qualification was gained in a country where English is not the first spoken language


Applicants who are relying on qualifications gained in countries where English is not the first spoken language may be required to demonstrate their proficiency in English.

Applicants should arrange their own test and gain at least an IELTS academic minimum of 7.0 overall, with a minimum of 6.0 in each band*.

* MGSM reserves the right, in addition to the above, to administer further testing.

Note: exam results are valid for two years and your results must be valid at the commencement of your program.

If you’re interested in scholarships

Submit a scholarship application cover sheet along with a personal statement (of not more than 1,000 words), addressing the selection criteria and outlining the reasons why you feel you should be awarded the scholarship for which you are applying.

Note:

  • Before lodging, ensure all questions are answered and all documentation is attached as incomplete applications will delay assessment.
  • All documents submitted become the property of MGSM and will not be returned.

Entry requirements

  • Applicants should possess an Australian level 7 bachelor's degree, or equivalent, from a recognised tertiary institution with a GPA of 4.00 (out of 7.00).

English language

Applicants who are relying on qualifications gained in countries where English is not the first spoken language may be required to demonstrate proficiency in English.
