Steven Grover examines ethical leadership issues from a scholarly perspective and shares that knowledge through research, teaching, and consulting. He is currently a professor of leadership and the head of the Management Department at Macquarie University in Sydney. After earning his PhD at Columbia University in New York City, he subsequently held positions at Indiana University and Georgia State University, and the University of Otago in New Zealand.
His research work appears in the top management journals and examines such issues as trust development between leaders and followers and the impact of respectful behavior at work. That work influences research and thought, with nearly 5000 articles citing his body of work.
He takes an international approach to scholarship and works with teams of researchers around the globe, working with universities on the four continents and serving on the board of the European Group on Organization Studies.
