Prior to becoming the Interim Associate Dean Learning and Teaching, Grant Michelson was Head of the Department of Management. Previously, he served as Associate Dean of Research and Higher Degrees in the Faculty of Business and Law at ECU in Perth; and Professor and Director of Research at Audencia Business School, one of France’s leading grandes ecoles (and triple accredited). Since 2009, he has served on the research advisory board of EADA Business School in Barcelona.
Prior to moving to France in January 2008 he worked for 12 years at the University of Sydney and was the general convenor of the Business and Professional Ethics Group in the business school. He has also held a range of visiting positions including at Copenhagen Business School, and Texas A&M University. Grant has also taught for the University of Southampton in Singapore as an adjunct lecturer and assisted university business schools in developing countries such as Bangladesh and Malaysia. He began his career in the meat export industry in New Zealand (audit and procurement related functions) before working for the parks division in local government.
His areas of expertise include work, employment, business ethics and organisational behaviour.
