graphic depicting squares in corporate colours.Web Templates

The University has created website templates to ensure a consistent corporate image and branding in line with print publications. Each Division and Office has a consistent colour scheme throughout their website and print publications.

The templates can be obtained by contacting vig@mq.edu.au. The University is working towards the introduction of a Content Management System.

Page examples

The samples below are shown in the University corporate colours of red, green and black. Each Academic Division has its own colour replacing the green band. For details of the academic division colours go to the University Colours page.

Due to requests from some divisions, there are now templates available which incorporate the banner graphics as originally intended for the top level University home pages. For example, http://www.mq.edu.au/. These pages link to a script which rotates a set of five banner graphics so that a different one will load each time a page is loaded. These graphics can be customised for your web site, but they must be jpegs at 72dpi measuring 270 pixels wide by 73 pixels high, and the left hand edge must incorporate a 2-pixel wide border coloured #d2a12b. Existing graphics to choose from. Contact vig@mq.edu.au if you need assistance or advice.
