Macquarie University Logo
The Macquarie University logo (above left) was designed in 1996 to be used as the marketing logo for the University. This logo is now widely recognised and provides a strong visual identity for Macquarie University. This logo must be used on all print and electronic publications.
The previous lighthouse logo (above right) cannot be used without permission of the Registrar and Vice-Principal, Macquarie University NSW 2109 Australia.
Placement of the logo
The Macquarie University logo must always appear in a prominent position on the front cover of any print or electronic publication.
Colours of the logo



There are three variations of the colour presentation of the logo: black; full colour; reversed out (of any colour). The logo cannot be represented in any other colour or colour combination.
All approved versions of the logo are available to download from this site.
The full colour logo is: Red PMS 1807, Green PMS 574 and Black. Other colours or colour combinations are NOT TO BE USED.
Wording in the logo


The elements of the logo cannot be used separately from each other. The logo includes the wording "Macquarie University ~ Sydney" and this wording must always appear with the "M". Similarly, no other word or wording can be used in conjunction with the logo.
Distortion of the logo
The University logo when reproduced must not be distorted or modified in any way
