Undergraduate Academic Orientation
Academic Orientation Day introduces you to studying at Macquarie University. It is a half day program from 10am-2pm.

Other Activities:
- Take a library tour - a must to be able to find your way around the library!
- Do a tour of the U@MQ Building - the social hub of the university.
- Free lunch in U@MQ Building Level 2 (Bar level)
PROGRAM
Academic Information Sessions
These sessions will provide vital information on the topics mentioned in the Quiz, and many others such as:
- Time management
- Writing skills
- Online Learning
- Note-taking in lectures
- Campus tours of your departments, location of important places (where you hand in assignments etc)
- Using the Library.
Please note:
Put this date in your diary now. Come early as seats may be limited (On Campus parking charges will apply)
Meet a Mentor
Experienced students will be there to answer all your questions about being a student and will take you on a tour to discover all the places you'll need to know about in your first week at uni (and many others!). At these sessions you will meet staff and students from your Division with advice relevant and essential to you.
