Transition

Postgraduate

Macquarie recognises that not all students enrolling for postgraduate study are familiar with the facilities and resources that Macquarie provides for them. The Transition Program holds a Postgraduate Information and Skills Workshop at the beginning of each semester for commencing postgraduate students. This day is particularly aimed at students returning to study after a break or students who have not studied at Macquarie University previously.

At these days you will have the opportunity to meet other new postgraduate students, a representative from the Macquarie University Postgraduate Representative Association (MUPRA) and have an introduction to the Online learning facility and the services provided by the Library.

If you are an International student, there are Grammar, Discussion and Pronunciation skills workshops available through English for Academic Purposes and we encourage you to visit their website and see what is offered to assist you.

If you have any enquiries regarding doing Postgraduate study at Macquarie the Postgraduate Studies Section will be happy to answer your questions.

There are many sports and social clubs available to you as well as all the facilities provided by U@MQ (Students at Macquarie).
