Orientation Days 2011

The Orientation Days are designed to help new students take their first steps into Macquarie University and are run by our trained student volunteers, the Mentors@Macquarie. They will be your guide to what the university is about and will help you make the best out of your time here at Macquarie!

The 2011 cycle of Orientation Days has now finished but stay tuned for the 2012 intake!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING FOR ORIENTATION DAY?

Orientation Day is free to attend and lunch will be provided. Please bring something to take notes on as there will be important information given during the day, and remember to dress appropriately for the weather!

CAN I BRING SOMEONE WITH ME TO ORIENTATION DAY?

Orientation Day is about meeting new people in your subject area and all activities are focused on new students coming into Macquarie, so we advise that any plus ones and parents are left at home (or re-directed to the nearby Macquarie Shopping Centre)!

DO I REALLY NEED TO TURN UP ON TIME?

It is important to turn up on time, as the day will be jam packed with activities for you to participate in and you’ll miss out on important information and time making new friends!

We hope to see you soon!
