Building shutdowns this weekend

Property is currently undertaking electrical infrastructure projects to upgrade systems and replace end-of-life equipment.

As part of this, the following buildings will be impacted:

  • Building F7B will be shut down on Saturday 30 July. The shutdown will commence at 7am, with power expected to be restored by 2pm. Temporary power has been arranged for critical equipment identified by the Faculty of Science and Engineering.
  • Buildings W5A and W5C will be shut down on Saturday 30 July and Sunday 31 July. Power will be restored to resume normal operations on Monday 1 August.

During the shutdowns, the buildings will be monitored by Campus Security and will not be open for staff or general access.
