CSIRO seeking scientists and mathematicians for schools program

CSIRO is looking for skilled volunteers with a passion for science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) education.

Join an upcoming on-campus information session for the CSIRO’s Scientists and Mathematicians in Schools (SMiS) program to learn more about how you can be a part of a teacher-STEM professional partnership to inspire the next generation of scientists, mathematicians, engineers, and ICT professionals.

The session will take place at Macquarie on Wednesday 27 July from 4pm to 6pm, with optional tours of the Surgical Skills Lab. Learn more and register on the CSIRO Events page.

SMiS is a national education program that facilitates ongoing partnerships between STEM professionals and teachers to enhance STEM education in schools. Activities can range from seminar presentations and classroom exercises, to site visits and project mentoring.
