15 November 11AM - Walk Against Warming
Martin Place, Sydney - Nature Conservation Council of NSW
Sydney's Walk Against Warming sent a clear message to our politicians, to the media and to undecided voters, that the people of Australia want our next Government (now the Labor Government) to get serious about climate change!
In 2007, close to 30,000 people hit the streets in Sydney, calling on the next Australian Government to take immediate steps to reduce our greenhouse pollution and to keep global temperature rise below 2°C.
Thank you to the people of Sydney!

12 - 14 August 2008 - Sustainability Fair

U@MQ and Sustainability@MQ are bringing you Macquarie University’s first Sustainability Fair in August. Please come along and listen to our guest speakers (including Natalie Isaacs from the Climate Coolers), browse the stalls, try some delicious organic food, watch the demonstrations, listen to the music, or just enjoy the entertainment and competitions.
If you know of a business that would like to be involved in our Sustainability Fair, please contact sustainability@mq.edu.au.
The event runs in the Central Courtyard and U@MQ Atrium from Tuesday 12 August until Thursday 14 August, 11am -2pm each day. We look forward to seeing you there!
