Learning Opportunities

In order to meet employer expectations and be prepared for the challenges of sustainability which they will face in their future professions, graduates need generic skills such as critical thinking, self-reflection, systems thinking, stakeholder communication and project management. In addition to specialist courses on sustainability, Macquarie University is therefore working towards mainstreaming principles and practices of sustainability across the university curriculum and embedding generic skill acquisition in all courses.

Most course units offered by the Graduate School of the Environment incorporate principles of sustainability.
