Sydney and Beyond includes those organisations found elsewhere in Sydney outside of the local community, as well as other state and national groups. Australasian Campuses Towards Sustainability (ACTS) is the primary forum for sustainability in the Australian and New Zealand tertiary sectors. Its mission is to promote the integration of the principles of ecologically sustainable development within the curricula and operations of tertiary institutions. Sustainability@MQ is a member of ACTS, and attended its 2007 Annual Conference.
