Office of major projects
Any project on campus that is either regarded as being of high risk, or has a capital value above $5 million is allocated to and then delivered by the OMP. The aim of the OMP is to successfully deliver major projects with certainty, while managing the University’s risk and underpinning the value within each project for the sustainability of the University. The current ambitious development program will provide significant challenges for the University and the OMP team, however delivered well is a key element in the economic, environmental and social sustainability framework outlined with the MQ@50 vision.

action groups
The findings of the State of Play (PDF 0.56MB) document, in conjunction with round table discussions at the initial Sustainability Working Group meeting, identified aspects of Macquarie University that needed to be addressed to improve the sustainability performance of the University. The identified actions incorporate all aspects of MQ in order to achieve an identity of sustainability. The Action Groups meet regularly to provide direction and support to Sustainability@MQ and the SWG with regard to the initiation and implementation of actions. They assist in the development and reviewing of relevant policies and procedures to ensure sustainability is incorporated. You can find out more about what our action groups are achieving by clicking on their titles on the left hand side of the screen.
